Industry 5.0 is an approach to make production sustainable, flexible, resilient, and make human work easier and safer. It can take on many forms.
The Italian government has launched the new Transition 5.0 Plan which focuses on production and company-wide energy sustainability. Financial aid will be given for purchasing machines and systems that can save or produce energy. Access to the new benefits requires to be able to measure pre- and post-intervention energy consumption and the savings generated.
