THE CHALLENGE
The Italian company Bosco Italia SpA has been designing and manufacturing soundproofing systems for industry and plant engineering, for infrastructures such as roads, railways, underpasses and tunnels, and for auditoriums, theaters, cinemas and Radio/TV rooms for more than 40 years. It has been producing the metalwork and custom components, all with assembly and installation.
In 2021-2022, the company has initiated a series of investments to replace some obsolete and worn-out machinery, as well as to increase the potential and functionality of the machines. The Transition Plan 4.0 was an opportunity to begin a digitization process for which the company relied on Orchestra.
THE SOLUTION
The first step was to interconnect the purchased machines (a shear and a press brake), which was followed by the adoption of RETUNER®’s MiniMES4.0.
