SARGOMMA: a new fully Industry 4.0 production model

The Challenge

Sargomma is an Italian SME specialized in the production of rubber and plastic components for the automotive, industrial, earthmoving, and marine sectors. In 2017, the company launched a digital transformation journey with the goal of evolving into a smart factory.

The opportunity arose during the upgrade of an existing production line, which involved the purchase of two next-generation machines to be connected to the company’s ERP system.

The Solution

The entire project was carried out with the support of Orchestra, whose technology enabled not only the integration of the newly installed machines, but also the digital interconnection of legacy industrial equipment already in use.

Thanks to this solution, Sargomma successfully established full connectivity between the ERP system and the shop floor, enabling a seamless flow of data across all production processes.
