THE CHALLENGE
CECCHINI ITALIA S.R.L is a young company specializing in the production of bedroom furniture. It offers a wide range of solutions, from products with a sinuous, “Mediterranean” design with curved and elaborate details, to those with a linear, innovative, and high-quality design, suitable for the younger generation, to simple and essential proposals. Cecchini Italia manages the entire production process internally, from design to delivery, also offering custom contract furniture services.
It distributes to retailers and also has dedicated lines for large-scale retailers, always looking for ideal solutions that are affordable for everyone, from custom-made products designed down to the smallest detail to standard products ready for immediate delivery.
Sustainability is the company’s mission: from the use of Idroleb panels, polyurethane glues, water-based paints, and reduction of production waste, to a sense of responsibility towards what is encapsulated in the 3Ps: PROFILE-PEOPLE-PLANET. The management style that characterizes the company aims to avoid complexity and streamline processes, allowing for versatility in offerings and speed in management, resulting in energy savings that are invested in research and growth.
Driven by the desire to evolve, Cecchini Italia has embarked on a path of optimizing its production processes. Since 2020, the company has chosen Orchestra’s solution to digitize five machines and modernize its plant with smart technologies. This transformation has made it possible to automate the monitoring and management of orders and, at the same time, benefit from the tax incentives provided for in the Italian Transition Plan 4.0.
THE SOLUTION
Orchestra has implemented the RETUNER® system at Cecchini: an advanced digital solution for planning, monitoring, and reporting on machine activities in production. At the heart of the system is MES software designed specifically for SMEs in the furniture industry, with the aim of making production more efficient, traceable, and controllable.
