From Orchestra to Technophylla: integrated digitization for the entire agribusiness supply chain

Technophylla was founded as an innovative start-up hosted within the University of Turin incubator with the aim of offering new and advanced solutions for the entire agrifood supply chain. Its products and services support the planning, monitoring and control of activities related to production, harvesting, processing and distribution, ensuring complete product traceability throughout the supply chain, from field to table.

As a spin-off of Orchestra srl, Technophylla applies INDUSTRIA 4.0 digital technologies in the AGRIFOOD sector. Its SMARTFarming^5.0 platform enables real-time management and monitoring of all above-ground production, such as greenhouse production, by controlling parameters and machinery. In addition, the platform helps entrepreneurs plan, monitor, track and report on greenhouse activities, as well as subsequent product processing and distribution.

SMARTFarming^5.0 plans activities and monitors production progress in real time, monitors the environmental conditions of the greenhouse for lush growth (°C, CO2, Humidity, Lux etc..), controls machinery and equipment (e.g. irrigation bars, ridges and laterals, etc.) by monitoring their operating parameters for traceability of supply chain batches, reports processing times and materials used, manages the sending of alarms to operators even remotely and their use for maintenance purposes.

SMARTFarming^5.0 is a multilingual Web App that can be used from any PC or mobile device. Flexible, modular, interoperable and highly configurable, it has its own IoT platform or integrates with third-party platforms in private or public cloud. Capable of interconnecting any type of new or existing machinery or plant, it can be installed, tested and customized over time entirely remotely. Its main advantages are interoperability with other supply chain systems, the ability to connect wired and wireless over different protocols, and low-power performance.

SMARTFarming^5.0 can be used both on farms and in industry for fully digitized management of production, processing and distribution processes.
