In particular, Orchestra integrates SHT’s IT infrastructure into its clients’ digitization projects.

This was the case for the Consorzio Riva Sinistra Stura, which manages the entire irrigation network from the intake on the Stura River in Viù to serve agriculture and industry in neighboring municipalities. All hydraulic nodes are constantly monitored and controlled remotely thanks to RETUNER® technology, ORCHESTRA’s suite of products, which backs the components in CLOUD on an IT infrastructure provided by SHT.

In the same way, but in a manufacturing context in the processing of metal parts in F.O.M.T. spa and in the production of chocolate in Dolcella srl, the interconnection of machines and production lines with ORCHESTRA’s MES (Manufacturing Execution System) systems is guaranteed by the network infrastructure and server provided by SHT.

MES systems are the conductor that must manage and coordinate the different stages of the production process in a manufacturing company. Thanks to RETUNER®, machines/plants are interconnected to the customer’s factory business systems, thus becoming part of the company’s production monitoring, control and management system. The interconnection thus enables the customer to obtain real-time data useful for making the improvements needed to increase the efficiency of its production process.
